WWE And Announcer Adnan Virk Mutually Part Ways

It was revealed on Tuesday in a statement by WWE that former ESPN and MLB Network announcer Adnan Virk had mutually parted ways with the company after only 43 days with the company

In a short statement on their website WWE said:

"WWE and Adnan Virk have mutually agreed to part ways. WWE thanks Adnan for his work."

Virk himself confirmed the news Tuesday with the following tweet:

Virk took over the play by play duties for Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania 37 and has received a mostly negative reaction from critics and fans. Fans have criticized his lack of knowledge of the product and monotoned announcing throughout his tenure with the company.

The company has yet to confirm a replacement for Virk but it is assumed that either Tom Phillips or NXT lead play by play commentator Vic Joseph could lead the red brand moving forward.
